School Admission Criteria (As per NEP 2020)

The admission process of the school is guided by the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes equity, inclusion, holistic development, and age-appropriate learning.

1. Age Criteria:

Admissions will be granted strictly as per the age norms prescribed by NEP 2020 and relevant UT education authorities.

• Pre-Primary (Foundational Stage)

  • Nursery / Balvatika: As per UT/state guidelines

• Grade I

  • Minimum age: 6 years as on the cut-off date notified by the competent authority

2. Entry-Level Admissions

• Admissions at the entry level (Pre-Primary / Grade I) will be open and transparent.

• No screening tests, interviews, or written exams for children or parents.

• Admission will be granted based on:

  • Age eligibility

  • Availability of seats

3. Admissions to Classes II and Above:

• Admission may be granted based on:

  • Transfer Certificate from the previous school

  • Academic records of the previous class

  • Interaction for academic placement (non-discriminatory and child-friendly)

• No high-stakes entrance examinations will be conducted.

  Documentation Required:

  • Birth Certificate by competent authority.

  • Aadhaar Card of the child and parent.

  • Transfer Certificate (for Class I onwards)

  • Previous school report card.

  • Passport-size photographs (4 no)

  • Medical fitness record (if required)
